The 2023 Season is Set for a Nine-Weekend Celebration
September through November is without a doubt the most distinctive season in Big Bear Lake. The air gets a little crisper, leaves begin to change color, and best of all Oktoberfest takes center stage. That’s right, it’s time to dust off the lederhosen and dirndls because Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest is happening for nine straight weekends September 9 to November 5. The 53rd annual classic Oktoberfest celebration combines Big Bear’s mountain charm with authentic German traditions, charismatic characters dressed in full regalia, German bands rocking oompah-pah tunes, and of course the crowd favorite Chicken dance!
Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest brings friends and families together to delight in each other’s presence and creating memories that last a lifetime. This year’s theme is ‘Embrace the Moment – Prost to the Memories.’ With a 53-year history, Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest patrons have so many great memories to prost about. Even if this is your first time attending Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, we’re certain you’ll rack up dozens of memories while you take in the sights and sounds of Big Bear’s most revered event. November 2023 (Saturday): Nov. 4 (Closing Saturday – Encore)

SUNDAYS: 12 noon – 6 p.m.
FRIDAYS (October Only): 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.
